I will "briefly" outline how my
whistle-blowing turned into,
"Comcast allowing
discrimination, patterns of
harassment, continuous
retaliation & finally wrongful
termination - 21st of Sept 10".
(Then Re-Hired 1 Nov 2010)
Being forced to return to this
same hostile environment has
and is causing me great
stress as I had to seek
medical treatment to help me
deal with my employment at
Comcast.

While I was employed with Comcast I sent the below email to HR. ie Mr. Annone & Connolly "in Legal"
To Whom It May Concern:
As a current employee you are restricting my access to TeamComcast and other Comcast Networks.
Please restore my access immediately so I can access my statement of pay and other items that all employees have access to.
Also, Received USP package “1Z2AF8680194324812” from you. It only contained your 2 page statement (copy of 7 February 2011 email) referencing “Return To Work Concerns”.
In that 2 page statement you spoke of non-retaliation, discrimination, harassment and more. You said “we absolutely respect your right to raise complaints” and you said “while you may not agree with the outcome”.
If I may address these two points for now.
1. “We absolutely respect your right to raise complaints” – is this why I’m the one being harass, humiliated, dishonored, disgraced, shamed, let alone RETALIATED AGAINS in so many ways?
2. “While you may not agree with the outcome” – You have a white boy going around saying Negro comments to SUPERVISOR and stating he’ll get away with it AND you have a person of color making songs and dances talking about how blacks working for Comcast in Philly City are treated/betrayed. ie. “Being and good Comcast Nigger Slave song and dance”, I report this and you tell me “While you may not agree with the outcome”?
You’re ABSOLUTELY CORRECT, I don’t agree with your lack of findings stating that I made all this up!!!
You also stated:
“Please note that the Company is committed to working with you regarding any workplace concerns you raise, however, it is not permissible to raise those concerns in a way that targets and demeans Company personnel. Accordingly, upon your return from work you will be placed on a written warning for such conduct.”
I understand that you and Comcast DO NOT endorse any BLACK person speaking up addressing the concerns and issues such as the ones that I have addressed and Comcast/HR will do whatever to discredit you just as what you are trying to do to me now!!!
It’s very clear how BLACKS and people of COLOR are feeling at the hands of Comcast and Comcast HR department.
(THIS IS NOT NEW TO YOU & STEFANIE AS WE DISCUSSED RACISM IN OUR MEETING (week 45) in November 2010)
You clearly asked me “did I mean the whole “Philly City” system? I replied that I’m only speaking about the DIRECT SALES SIDE in “Philly City” only!!!! (Referring to Blacks and how they’re feeling)

But your investigation Found nothing other then “I made everything up” and REQUIRE “psychological treatment”!!!

I WILL CONTINUE TO SPEAK UP, STAND UP AND NOT TOLIATING THE DISCRIMINATION AND RACISM AT COMCAST FOR ALL PEOPLE/COMCASTER’s!
And yes I said “MASTER” because this is how HR and Comcast has people feeling because of the companies actions!
(Oh now using Nigger is BAD – WELL WHAT WHEN IT WAS DIRECTED AT ME???) So it’s ok then, because Comcast and HR will spin it as it never happened! WELL IT DID, like it or NOT!
Just look at what you’re doing to me for following the guide lines set forth by Comcast “Code of Conduct” see attached. Page 8 – “Addressing Concerns”
I did as instructed, so this is what happens to Comcast employees for believing in the Comcast Code of Conduct. You say/write one thing but PRACTICE another. Just like in you emails and letters Philip.
Philip Annone, I’m not crazy – I just refuse to stand around and allow these things to take place. So when I say “BEAT” this means “retaliate, discrimination, harass, humiliated, dishonored, disgraced, shamed etc.”
Hopefully you’ll understand a little better and change you views toward other races and groups of people.
As a Black male and Comcast Supervisor, I HAVE TO SPEAK UP AND ADDRESS THESE UNJUST BEHAVIORS.
IF I DON’T SPEAK UP - HOW WOULD THE COMPANY IDENTIFY & IMPROVE THEIR BEHAVIOR?
WHAT IF THE COMPANY DID NOT KNOW THESE THINGS WERE REALLY TAKING PLACE?
BUT when the company knows and denies everything because they wish to continue these unjust practices while doing things to stop employees from speak up. This is when I say/said “I’ll be a Good Nigger” this means: “I won’t speak up and address concerns regarding civil rights and/or Comcast Code of Conduct” issues because my employer forbids me doing so. (ie. Employer = “MASTER”)
Hope this helps you better understand and address the true Comcast RETALIATING, DISCRIMINATION AND RACISM taking place in the Direct Sales side in the “Philly City” system!
I’m just the Black Supervisor that had the courage and conviction to stand up to the face of JOB LOST, RETALIATION and more to try to help all Comcaster’s.
At the end of the day I have a higher authority to answer to.
I’m looking forward to returning to work and following the Comcast Code of Conduct. I hope you are too.
